AirTran Airways Drops Nonstop Service To Las Vegas From Six USA Destinations.
AirTran Airways has discontinued nonstop service to Las Vegas from
Bloomington (IL), Akron (OH), Dayton (OH), Moline (IL) and Flint (MI), and on
July 12, 2008 will discontinue nonstop service from Rochester (NY).

AirTran will continue to offer nonstop service to Las Vegas from Atlanta,
Indianapolis and Milwaukee.
Las Vegas has been hit hard by many major airlines pulling service. This
fall, Las Vegas will face the problem of filling up over 100,000 hotel rooms
daily with air passenger drops of between 12,000 to 15,000 seats per day.
Combine that with lost car traffic from California and Arizona and we could see
some great bargains to Las Vegas, at least from the hotel industry, this fall.
