Discount Luxury Vacations To Cancun For Fall Travel!
Are you looking for a bargain basement three night late summer or fall getaway? We all know how much everyone wants a vacation to Hawaii, but airfares to Hawaii are sky high this week when we checked for fall travel. We think your best travel deal and best bang for your buck, or peso that is, will be Cancun, Mexico.
By vacationing here you get roundtrip airfare with $100 in international taxes included, and three nights at the 4-star InterContinental Hotel. Or you can choose to stay at the 4-star Westin Resort, or the 4-star Marriott CasaMagna Resort for only about $35 more per person.
What is amazing, is that some of you will get this little peso vacation getaway for half the money of just the cost of the airfare alone to Honolulu. So this week instead of saying 'book me Danno to Hawaii 5-0', we suggest you say 'Book me Amigo'!
We are finding the cheapest travel to be between September 3 and November 18, 2013. Below is a comparison staying three nights in Cancun at a 4-star resort this fall, including roundtrip airfare and taxes vs. roundtrip airfares to Honolulu, no hotel included. As you will see Cancun will give you much more bang for your buck, and leave you plenty of money left over for margaritas on the beach.
Prices to Cancun are based on double occupancy, but are listed per person. Vacation packages are based on three nights departing the cheapest day, depending on departure city and availability at the time of pricing.

Great Fall Foliage Cruises From New England
And Along The East Coast
Splashes of red, gold and orange await you on your fall foliage cruise. On board cozy up with pumpkin pie and spiced cider as you enjoy views of stunning fall landscapes passing by.
But you aren't limited to admiring these rich hues from afar. Stops in port cities such as Boston, Portland, and Nova Scotia give you the opportunity to play in the leaves between interesting shore excursions. If you’re in the market for a fall cruise, few destinations match the beauty of New England and the Canadian Maritimes.
Collectively, this region — marketed as Canada/New England — boasts some of the oldest settlements in North America, along with some of its most picturesque. From the hustle-and-bustle of New York City to the quaint, storybook setting of Prince Edward Island, this is one cruise destination you don’t want to overlook.
So when should you go? Voyages that operate during the first weeks of September are often graced with spectacular, summer-like weather with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures. But if you’re a fan of this region’s fable fall colors, late September or early October can be your best option — even if you do get a day or two of rain.
Once you do go, though, prepare to be hooked; this is one destination we return to cruise again and again.

50% Off Fall Airfares To Europe, Including Thanksgiving
While some airfares to Europe have remained high for the fall season, they are still up to $300 to $500 cheaper than the current July and August airfares. Today, we have found some great travel gems to Europe for Thanksgiving. Some of these airfares are up to 50% off the existing August airfares.
Now that is a steal, so if you are trying to get to Europe during Thanksgiving, when many of you will have an automatic four-day weekend, why not add a few more days off and see Europe at some of the lowest airfares of the year.
Don't forget, if you are flying to Paris or Amsterdam, you may want to consider flying into Brussels as it may be up to $300 cheaper. Some of the super-hot cities on sale are Dublin, Lisbon (a very inexpensive destination for food and lodging), Istanbul, and Brussels. These cities are cheap gateways into Europe, and can get you to your destination cheaper than flying directly into Germany, France, or the Netherlands.
By planning your trip this way and flying in and out of a cheap city, and then taking a train or car to your destination you could save hundreds of dollars per person. If you are looking for cheap travel to Eastern Europe, try flying into Budapest, which is not far from Prague or Vienna by train.
It depends on where you live, but you will discover very quickly not all airfares are created equal. For example, Austin to Istanbul for Thanksgiving travel is $949 roundtrip, not a bad price; but out of Houston, only a short drive away, the airfare is only $659 roundtrip. Plus, the flight out of Houston is nonstop versus a one-stop from Austin.
By the way, Austin to Istanbul is selling for $1,529 during mid-August, so by departing out of Houston for Thanksgiving you save over $800 for November travel.
From Milwaukee, one of the cheapest airfares to Europe is Dublin for Thanksgiving at $699 roundtrip, with one-stop service. However, flying out of Chicago to Dublin you pay only $569 roundtrip.
The question here is how many more Guinness beers can you drink with an extra $130 per person in your pocket? The cost to fly to Dublin during August is $1,569 per person from Milwaukee; so it is important not only to look at the time of the year you are flying, but to also look at all nearby airports, as the savings could be worth it!

Toms tips for redeeming airline miles and point rewards- When it comes to frequent flyer miles these days, you may find it easier to earn them than redeem them. It used to be easy to find seats in coach class for 25,000 miles on domestic flights, but these days I find myself having to redeem 40,000 or 50,000 for a coach class ticket. When American started its frequent flyer program over 30 years ago, I was one of the first to sign up. Back then, if you had 25,000 miles you could get any available seat on the aircraft, even the last seat, going anywhere in the country. Today it’s a very different world and it can be a major headache to redeem miles for the lowest level. I have hundreds of thousands of miles on several different airlines, which gives me many options and I still only want to redeem the minimum amount of air miles that I can get away with. More.
Department of Justice blocks the American and US Airways merger- On Tuesday, August 13, 2013, the US Department of Justice filed a lawsuit stating this merger would violate antitrust laws. Six states have also joined the suit to keep the merger from happening. More.
Big discounts on Southwest Airlines vacations to sun and fun destinations- The time is NOW! Today we launched new sales to Vegas, St. Petersburg/Clearwater, the Dominican, and a great offer for the Hard Rock All-Inclusive hotels in Mexico and Punta Cana. Along with these new deals comes reduced airfare to Vegas, St. Petersburg/Clearwater (Tampa), and Orlando. More.
Fly to Milan this fall from New York City starting as low as $809 RT, all taxes included-- Emirates Airlines is considered one of the worlds finest airlines, especially when it comes to the services and amenities they offer to all passengers from first class to coach. More.
Spirit Airlines offers great low fares, just beware of the attack of the fees- When it comes to Spirit Airlines, I like to call it the Clint Eastwood of the airlines, because it offers the good, the bad and the ugly of air travel. We can start with the good, and that won’t be a long list. More.
Medical tourism is on the rise as Americans seek affordable healthcare- Central and South America are the top destinations for American medical tourists. Many US healthcare providers have recognized this and are expanding their operations into other countries. More.
Alaska Air to raise bag and change fees this fall, but still cheap compared to the legacy airlines- For tickets purchased on or after Oct. 30, the Seattle-based airline will charge passengers $25 each for the first and second checked bags. Additional bags will cost $75. Alaska currently charges $20 per bag for the first three suitcases. More
