Zoom Airlines Ceases Operations To London Stranding Passengers In Ft. Lauderdale And San Diego

First we saw Maxjet, a low-cost Business Class airline, which flew from Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York (JFK) to London Stansted , cease operations
without notice. Ceased operations the day before Christmas December 24, 2007.
Next, American owned EOS, which offered low-cost Business Class airfares
between New York (JFK) and London Stansted airport. Ceased
operations on April 27, 2008.
Then, low-cost Business Class airline Silver Jet ceased
operations from Newark to London Luton airport on May 30, 2008.
Now, the Canadian owned Zoom Airlines ceased operations
from Ft. Lauderdale and San Diego to London Gatwick on August 28, 2008.
In less than 10 months, four low-cost airlines serving
the USA to Europe have ceased operations. Always remember when purchasing
travel, use a credit card not cash, check, paypal, or especially a debit card.
If the airline or tour operator goes out of business, you may want to see your
money again.
