Delta Airlines to offer First Class seats on New York City to Boston or Washington (DC) shuttle service.
Beginning December 1, 2008, Delta Airlines plans to add 14 First Class seats
to the MD-88- shuttle service. Each plane will also continue to have 128 Economy
seats.
What's sad about this expansion by Delta Airlines is that the extra pitch
we used to get on these planes will go away. USAirways, which offers their own
shuttle service on the same routes, has a First Class cabin.
The flight time between New York LaGuardia to Boston and Washington (DC) is
about 80 minutes gate to gate. Flights between Boston and Washington (DC) is
about 1 hour and 40 minutes gate to gate.
Delta Airlines plans to introduce wife internet service by the end of the
year and also plans for the shuttle service are in the air. Expect to pay $9.95
for the 80 minute and the 1 hour and 40 minute flight.
