In the past six months, we heard nothing but fees, fees and more fees to travel by air. Check one bag, pay $15 bucks. Check a second bag and pay $25 bucks unless your flying Delta Airlines and you pay a whopping $50 for a second bag.

Check a first bag on United Airlines, between 51 pounds to 70 pounds and you pay $15, plus an extra $125 for an overweight bag. That's $280 roundtrip.

Make a change to your airline ticket, which used to be $25, today $150, plus any increase in the new airfare. Purchase as soft drink on US Airways and you pay $2 and on Spirit you pay $3. Want a seat assignment? No way Jose, Spirit charges $5 for a middle seat, $10 for a window and $15 for an aisle seat. If you make a connection, just double it.

On Thursday night August 28, 2008, over 80,000 people showed up at Denver Broncos Invesco Field to hear Obama's acceptance speech. Now, some folks had bus transportation to the stadium, but for those who thought they were smart travelers and drove to the stadium and had to park, how much do you think the going rate was for a little parking space? Now what do you think a fair price would be? Click here for the answer.
